Both the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Labs 2, 4, and 5 represent new fit out construction located within existing shelled third floor space of the Surgery Addition and Harrison Annex.  The labs were designed as separate projects, but constructed within a reasonably close time frame. 

The air handling equipment serving these rooms and the adjacent ancillary areas is capable of delivering air changes and filtration equal to an operating room.  HEPA filters in the ceiling provided final filtration.

The new equipment for each of the two cath labs is the Philips Allura FD10.  The EP lab was also fitted with Phillips equipment.  The project was constructed within two phases of three months each in order to meet the Hospital’s schedule.
