CD Companies Expands Healthcare Sector
Over the past few years, our CD Companies team has been focusing on expanding our markets and capabilities. Despite the many difficulties of this past year, we have been able to continue the push to diversify our business. Our top five sectors last year were retail, grocery, education, office, and healthcare. Some of our other sectors include government, industrial, hospitality, restaurant, mixed-use, entertainment, and senior living.
We are happy to report that our quickest growing sector for 2021 is healthcare, which is projected to grow about four times higher this coming year. With the ongoing pandemic, efficient healthcare design has become more crucial than ever. Our growing healthcare team now includes specialized experience in all major disciplines (Architecture, Interiors, MEP, Structural and Interior Design). Our capabilities extend into all facets of healthcare design including master-planning, bed-tower additions, interventional imaging, hybrid surgical suites, outpatient oncology facilities, urgent cares and countless others.
We have also spent the last few years gaining and building strong relationships with many healthcare clients in and around the region. Some of these clients include Mercy, Southeast Health, Missouri Delta, St. Francis Healthcare, Memorial Medical Center, Velocity Urgent Care, Physicians Immediate Care and more.
With more healthcare opportunities coming our way, we have also been working on growing our team of healthcare professionals. Just over the past few months, we have brought on quite a few employees with extensive healthcare experience. Tony Morefield, Suzanne Hayes, Pat Nolan, and Brian Pansing have all joined our Facet Architectural Design team, and Scott Moseley and Jake Carpio have joined our M/E 1 Engineering team. With our new employees and existing talent of our team, we are truly looking forward to the growth of our healthcare sector and the opportunities to come!
