The Southeast Medical Complex is a two-story, 44,000 SF medical office building located on the hospital’s west campus property, approximately five miles southwest of Southeast Hospital’s existing main campus.  The Medical Complex is directly adjacent to the recently completed Southeast Cancer Center.

Within the context of its original design, PNM was retained to study the feasibility of various building configurations on the tract.  As a result of the study, PNM developed a plan to double the leasable square footage on the site by constructing a future “mirror-image” of the first medical office building.  The new 56,000 SF Cancer Center now occupies the space of the originally planned “mirror image MOB”.  

The building’s smooth, clean-lined precast concrete panels, mimicking limestone and inset with brick, act as a strong background for a two-story anodized aluminum curtain wall entry and conical shaped aluminum columns supporting a dynamic porte cochere.
